Ocra Malta

Absolutely great Italian restaurant, one of the best in Malta. The menu is small, usually 3-4 starters, mains and desserts each. But that is probably part of the reason why the food is so excellent here. And the menu changes every 3 months! Only remark, there are not enough Maltese wines on the wine list. A few wines from Marsovin would do!

Third time to Ocra and I have never been disappointed. The menu is small (how it should be) and is changed every couple of months to cater for seasonality of produce. The service is superb and they always explain the specials and how much they cost!

We discovered a great restaurant in the South, Ocra in Zebbug. Very original and tasty food, such as pasta carbonara, tagliatelle with white ragu, and a delicious and tender saltimbocca. Also delicious desserts, friendly and knowledgeable staff, at a great location with view of the parish church. Special mention of the beautiful plates Recommended!

Such a lovely place! It’s like dining on a friend’s terrace. Cozy, with great views, great service and great food. I love that they have a short menu which changes every season. That’s how any small restaurant should be I will definitely come back again…and again…and again later edit: Came back again and again but since I am not a pasta person, I never tried theirs until now. Omg! The carbonara! Omg! The burnt tomatoes pasta! A few days later and I’m still thinking of how good they were. Does it mean they managed to convert me to pasta?

incredible atmosphere, great food and very friendly staff! we were here with 8 people tonight, we had a table on the beautiful rooftop terrace and it was lovely. the food was great, authentic italian cuisine. the starters we tried were the panzanella, the burrata and the crocetta. everything was fresh and high quality! our mains were the gnocchi, carbonara and the fish of the day. the gnocchi are homemade and had a pleasant lemony flavor, great dish overall! the carbonara is authentic with guanchale and pecorino cheese, its extremely tasty! the fish was fresh and prepared amazingly! for dessert we had the tiramisu. one of the best i‘ve had, theres not much more to say. coffee and limoncello to end the night made this a perfect experience. 10/10 can recommend!

Amazing place! It exceeded our expectations! Quite concise menu. The food was divine! From the starters to the dessert (maritozzo - must try!). Very pleasant interior with lots of natural light. Kudos to our waiter who was very enthusiastic and helpful. Cannot wait to try more Italian cuisine prepared by Ocra guys and dine on their summer terrace. Keep in mind to book your table in advance, because the place is getting very busy.

Simply great! A true gem in the heart of a authentic maltese town . Clean service and warm welcoming. The food is outstanding prepared with the hands of a true master. Young people with huge potential. Very happy we've choose to have the lunch here. Will bee back 100%
